2. Information We Collect

2.1 Health & Wellness Data

WellVoye integrates with Apple HealthKit to read the following categories of data, solely to provide personalized wellness coaching:

• Steps & Movement — daily step counts and activity levels
• Workouts — exercise sessions, duration, and type
• Sleep — sleep duration and quality metrics
• Weight — body weight entries for trend tracking
• Mindfulness — mindful minutes (read and write)

WellVoye may also write mindfulness session data back to Apple Health with your explicit permission.

2.2 Location Data

WellVoye requests your location only when the app is in use, solely to provide weather-aware wellness recommendations. Your location is processed through a secure weather gateway and is not stored, tracked, or associated with your identity.

2.3 Account Information

If you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. We support Sign in with Apple, which allows you to hide your email address if preferred.

2.4 Usage Analytics (Opt-In Only)

WellVoye offers optional, anonymous usage analytics that are disabled by default. If you choose to enable analytics in Settings, we collect:

• Anonymous interaction patterns (which features are used)
• App performance metrics
• Crash reports (if diagnostics sharing is enabled)

Analytics data is fully anonymized and cannot be traced back to individual users. You can disable analytics at any time in the app's Privacy settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above exclusively to:

• Provide personalized wellness coaching and recommendations
• Track your progress across the 7 Wellness Pillars
• Generate AI-powered insights about your health trends
• Deliver weather-appropriate wellness suggestions
• Improve app performance and reliability (with opt-in analytics only)

4. Data Storage & Security

4.1 On-Device Storage

All your health and wellness data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. WellVoye employs AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest.

4.2 iCloud Sync

WellVoye uses iCloud to sync your app preferences and settings across your Apple devices. Health data is never synced via iCloud — only preferences such as theme selection and notification settings.

4.3 Backend Services

WellVoye uses limited cloud services for:

• Authentication — secure account management
• Weather data — fetched through a secure gateway to provide contextual recommendations

5. AI Processing & Privacy

WellVoye uses AI to generate personalized coaching insights. Before any data is sent to AI providers, it undergoes a rigorous sanitization process:

• All personally identifiable information (PII) is stripped, including email addresses, phone numbers, and identifiers
• Only anonymized, aggregated wellness metrics are used for AI analysis
• A 6-rule AI safety filter prevents harmful or inappropriate outputs

6. Third-Party Sharing

WellVoye does not:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use tracking cookies or tracking identifiers
• Participate in data broker networks

We do not include any third-party tracking SDKs in the app. Our privacy nutrition label on the App Store reflects this commitment.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You have full control over your data:

• HealthKit permissions — revoke at any time via iOS Settings > Health > Data Access
• Location access — manage via iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services
• Analytics opt-out — toggle off in WellVoye > Settings > Privacy
• Account deletion — request complete account and data deletion via support@wellvoye.com
• Data export — your HealthKit data remains accessible through the Apple Health app

8. Children's Privacy

WellVoye is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@wellvoye.com and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via the email address associated with your account. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
